It took us nearly 2 hours to get from North Berwick to Perth. If you look on the map, it means you will be going from the coast inland, above Edinburgh. We are staying at the Perth Youth Hostel. It's super little block of rooms, each floor has 4 rooms, 1 double and 3 single. It has a little kitchen as well with a stoep/veranda where one could have sundowners.

This morning we went to a pub for breakfast. Lovely old buildings and streets along the way.
Lady in white is our hosts, Jean. She and her husband, John, stays in Port Alfred 6 months and then 6 months here. She is from Fife originally. Not sure where it is, will have to check maps.
Our pub next to river. They salmon fish in the river and fresh water pearls. It is the longest river in Scotland.
Gail (left) and Jenny having breakfast.
After breakfast, we decided to walk thru town before the band start to perform.
This was our walk....
Spot High street...
Fundraising ....?
What would we call it in SA? Impi skin run? Voortrekker dress run?
Dogs for Tim Snr! Always welcome to see him, but don't have to pick up the pooh! And Brookshaw will not complain about any noice....!
The pub has fairy light in the ceiling. That is the one thing that is very different. Although things are old, the decor and display are very modern or fresh. It want you to spend your money.
